Therapist. Deep feeler. Gentle guide.

Hi, I’m Abbey (she/her).
I believe therapy is a space where we can come home to ourselves. A place to slow down, feel deeply, and begin to understand what our bodies have been trying to tell us.
My approach
I’m not here to fix you. I’m here to help you witness yourself with more curiosity and compassion.
My work is rooted in trauma-informed and somatic practices, and I’m informed by polyvagal theory, parts work, mindfulness, and identity exploration. Together, we’ll tune into the wisdom of your body, make space for all parts of you, and gently explore what you’ve been carrying.
I show up as a real person in the therapy room—and invite my clients to do the same. That might mean moments of laughter, quiet reflection, or sitting with whatever shows up.
My path to therapy
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a Recreation Therapist supporting older adults with dementia. That work deeply shaped how I see people. I learned how much our past shapes the way we respond to the present—and how powerful it is to feel understood when we don’t have the words.
Those experiences led me to pursue my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Today, I work with adults who are ready to explore the roots of their emotions, reconnect with themselves, and navigate life’s changes with more ease.
