From me to you

Hi, and welcome.

If you’ve found your way here, I imagine something in you is seeking connection, relief, growth—or maybe just a quiet space to feel. That in itself is enough. You don’t need to have all the answers or a perfectly polished reason for starting therapy. You’re allowed to simply be here, just as you are.

I’m a therapist grounded in humanistic, trauma-informed somatic approaches, and I also draw from parts work—meaning I see you as a whole person, with many layers, stories, and ways of experiencing the world. I believe in meeting people with compassion and curiosity, not judgement. Therapy with me isn’t about "fixing" you, but rather about helping you listen inward and relate differently to what’s already there.

We live in a world that often rewards hiding parts of ourselves to stay “functional.” And what if therapy could be the one space where you don’t have to hide? Where your anxiety, numbness, grief, joy, anger, confusion, or longing all have room to be? Where we get to ask: What’s really going on beneath the surface? What wants to be heard?

You don’t have to come to therapy with a script. You don’t need to be articulate, insightful, or emotionally tidy. You get to be messy. You get to stumble. And you get to take your time. My hope is that you’ll feel safe enough to let down the armor—at your own pace—and feel more connected to yourself in the process.

Thanks for being here. Really.

Warmly,

Abbey
